Inclinometer development

Here at KSG we are committed to developing new and useful products.  We are always looking for new ideas and solutions to make your working day just that bit easier.  Recently we approached the SSSC (Scottish Sensor Systems Centre) to ask for help and guidance in developing a new inclinometer sensor.  Sian and Duncan were kind enough to put us together with Kenny and Mark from the UWS (University of the West of Scotland) for this inclinometer development project, with the end goal of the sensor element being utilised in our RECLINE Remote Inclinometer System.

We recognised the need for a low cost yet accurate sensor to be available to the entertainment industry as well as for use in the construction, mining and marine sectors. Together with SSSC and UWS, we hope to fulfil that need and in turn provide a better product.

We envisage the following applications:

Applications:

  • Line Array Alignment
  • Lighting Truss and Video Screen levelling
  • Mining Industry
  • Drain / Sewer inspection
  • Road and Highway engineering
  • Building Construction
  • Wind Turbine Monitoring
  • KSG Kiwi Logo
    Angle and Incline Monitoring
